Overcoming the Three Challenges of Forgiveness, From Inner Bondage to Divine Transcendence. Interpersonal Forgiveness.

It's the law of retaliation, an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. 'He did it to me, he'll pay for it.' There's no room for compassion, only for resentment and revenge. The other doesn't exist, only the self. Our hearts have been hardened, and it's the law of the strongest everywhere Competition, not cooperation, is promoted in all our societies. God's forgiveness, forgiving oneself, or forgiving those who have wronged me have no place. Only submission, subjugation, oppression, and the death of the divine spirit in a world dominated by Satan through multiple physical, mental and emotional attachments. And in this world, in which we live and survive, the only hope for spiritual freedom, detachment and real life in the kingdom of God here and now lies in following Christ with our cross, with the guidance and protection of the Holy Spirit, and in obeying the will of our Father in Heaven for our lives, at all times. And if we manage to do it, this dark world will have no power over our lives and our families anymore. Finally, let's ask: Why did Jesus pray for His executioners and forgive them before He died? Because God designed us to thrive as we walk in the fullness of His love towards Him, ourselves, and others. When we learn that forgiveness has a price and a reward, our lives will be transformed. Heaven will always be our choice. And if we allow forgiveness to rule our lives once and for all, the world outside will become as new, and the holy spirit sent by Christ to be our guide will manifest always through our hearts.
