He completed a Bachelor of Human Kinetics and Education at the University of Windsor, a Master of Education from Queen’s and a Master of Business Administration at the University of Fredericton. During his part-time service, as a Reservist, he has worked as a secondary school teacher and construction safety and security officer. In his free time, LCdr Elliott enjoys volunteering in the local community, coaching youth sports, and founded a charity to support programs for individuals with special needs, earning the Sovereign’s Medal for Volunteers in 2018.
