Our next OYE podcast is something very special because it comes from our lovely team member Gaia aka Formella. She delivers a colorful mix that ranges from deep techno to breaks to UK-influenced beats. Formella´s sets are known for their diversity and range, you can hear her musical knowledge gained from working in Berlin record shop OYE Records. Her sets are full of surprises, and never lacking energy. For her it’s all about connecting with the crowd and keeping them on their toes. London born, Berlin based, Formella has taken on the Berlin club scene by storm, playing at HÖR multiple times, including for a Typeless Records showcase, and venturing beyond Germany to renowned clubs such as Thekla in Bristol for Interplanetary Criminals UK tour and Ankali in Prague. She is now delving into the realm of electronic music production, honing her musical theory skills learnt from piano and side flute, to work on her debut EP.
