The Final Good moves Beings This section discusses the end of a being in terms of how it motivates a being to be good, how the good is described by its effect and therefore the threefold explanation of the good which motivates as final cause: i) honourable good: the good desired for its own sake ii) useful good: the good desired for the sake of something else iii) enjoyable good: the good desired for the enjoyment that it gives The root of enjoyment is the possession of the good, and therefore the absence of good (evil) provides the opposite.
