The Common Good shared in the Order of the Universe The order of the universe (immanent common good) is the ultimate internal common good of creatures, and is caused by the universes relation to God (transcendent common good). The importance of spiritual beings is their relation to both the immanent and the transcendent and therefore their added responsibility in freely choosing and ordering everything towards God.
