Padmini Ekadashi

🌹Padmini Ekadashi is an important day for spiritual practice. There are 24 Ekadashis in a year, but during Purushottama Month the number of Ekadashis increases to 26. Padmini Ekadashi comes only once every 3 years, and the power of this day is immense.🪷Each Ekadashi is described as carrying a special spiritual potency that helps uproot certain anarthas, or unwanted qualities — everything opposed to devotion to God. It is also said that fasting on this sacred day can bless one with a virtuous son!☺️🙌 It is especially auspicious to observe a dry fast. If that is difficult, one may fast on water, or follow a simpler version by avoiding grains and legumes, while taking simple vegetables and nuts. It is best to prepare food at home. Spiritual practice, charity, chanting the holy names, and meditation are especially beneficial on this day.❗️The Power of Charity on EkadashiCharity on Ekadashi is a special means of both spiritual and material upliftment.
