In this lesson of Sūrah Yūnus (verses 53–61), Shaykh Dr. Aḥsan Ḥanīf explains how these verses emphasise the undeniable reality of the Resurrection and the justice of Allāh عَزَّ وَجَلَّ. When the punishment arrives, even the most powerful wrongdoers will wish to ransom themselves with everything they possess, but it will be too late. The verses remind us that everything belongs to Allāh, His promise is true, and He is fully aware of every deed. The Qur’ān is described as a cure, a guidance, and a mercy for the believers, something far greater than worldly wealth. The passage also warns against distorting divine laws without authority, reminding us that Allāh’s bounty is vast, yet most people remain ungrateful. Ultimately, nothing escapes His knowledge, not even the smallest act, underscoring that all is written in a perfect record.
