Parama Ekadashi

Parama Ekadashi is one of the most powerful Ekadashis and occurs during the sacred Purushottama Month (Adhika Masa). The word “Parama” means “supreme” or “highest,” indicating the special spiritual potency of this holy day.🌿 According to the Vedic scriptures, observing Parama Ekadashi helps free one from the reactions of past mistakes, purifies the heart, and awakens spiritual aspiration. It is said that even small efforts made for spiritual advancement on this day yield greatly multiplied results.🙏 On this day it is especially auspicious to:
• observe fasting according to one’s ability;
• spend more time in prayer, meditation, and mantra chanting;
• read sacred literature;
• engage in charity and selfless service;
• reflect on one’s true spiritual nature.In the Bhagavad-gītā, Lord Krishna explains that acts of sacrifice, austerity, and charity purify the heart. Therefore, Parama Ekadashi is considered an especially favorable time for inner growth and spiritual renewal.
