Parenting Through Fostering, Adoption, and Down Syndrome

This week Dr. Kim is talking with Kirsten Czernek. Kirstin Czernek is a wife and mom to three beautiful children. After getting her Master's degree and working in the therapy field, she changed courses and owned a women's fitness studio for 7 years.  10 years into being married, they adopted two biological siblings from foster care. A year later, she became pregnant with a daughter, who was born with Down syndrome. She loves to educate other moms about Down syndrome and being a mom with a special needs child and recently announced they are adopting a child with Down Syndrome and are currently in the process of waiting to be matched with a baby girl.  She is vulnerable and transparent about her entire motherhood journey and shares the depths of her unique, beautiful, and inspiring story of motherhood.  Learn more about your ad choices.
