Parker McCollum brings special guest to show and Ashley McBryde receives honor | Music City Minute

Parker McCollum had a huge surprise for a live crowd recently. Fans went wild when McCollum's wife, Hallie Ray, and son Major entered stage left. After introducing his family, the "Pretty Heart" singer said this was his three-month-old son's first ever concert and he "couldn't know less." Parker went on to joke that Major told him that he prefers Koe Wetzel over his dear old dad.   Ashley McBryde has been honored by her hometown of Waldron, Arkansas. The Chamber of Commerce proclaimed November 24 as "Ashley McBryde Day" and gave her a key to the city. There is also a shiny new sign along Highway 71 into town that says: "Welcome to Waldron, Arkansas, Birthplace of Ashley McBryde: Grand Ole Opry Member."
