Parliament Probes Immigration Board Member’s Potential Conflict

The Home Affairs Portfolio Committee in Parliament says it will seek legal advice on a potential conflict of interest involving a member of the Immigration Advisory Board. The committee says even the perception of a conflict must be addressed, given the sensitivity around immigration. The committee is interrogating a potential conflict of interest involving a member of the Immigration Advisory Board, after the member allegedly represented former beauty queen Chidimma Adetshina in her ongoing immigration battle.
