The Jubilee year, the Yovel, corresponds to the Keter, the 50th gate, where everything lost can be restored—if one maintains simcha. The field symbolizes a place of personal connection with Hashem; the house in the field shows visible fruits of that connection. The Levite, constantly steeped in Temple song, can redeem his portion at any time. But the one who builds in a walled city—rooted in worldly pursuits—may lose it permanently.
