Part 3 – Education in America, with guest Stephanie Cody. “Love and kindness are never wasted, they always make a difference.” ~ Helen James

from Motivate with Coach Camp · host Coach Camp

Building community is one of the most important cornerstones of my podcast.  The ability to bring people together through each other’s stories is one of the most rewarding aspects of podcasting in my opinion. Recently I’ve had people from all across America reach out to me about different podcasts.  One of my larger followings recently has been from the community of Foley, AL.  This surge of support prompted me to send a video request to Foley inquiring about the interest of someone coming on my show.  It was that video that led me to this week’s guest. Mrs. Stephanie Cody is a high school teacher at Foley High School home of the Lions.  At the time I was connected to Mrs. Cody I had the beginnings of a series about education under way.  Some may say it was a coincidence that she happened to be a teacher, but I like to believe things don’t happen by accident. Mrs. Cody shares with us how she took several paths before landing on becoming a teacher.  Her love for helping young people and helping to mold the next generation started at an early age and was inspired through her faith.  Mrs. Cody and I discuss similarities about teaching and education. In addition to teaching, Mrs. Cody even kickstarted the school’s first podcast as a way to highlight the students and the great things her community is doing.  Her dedication to her students and the future of education will leave you feeling inspired and grateful to have great people like Mrs. Cody influencing the future generation.
