Part of the Herd

from Water, Wind, Wine Ministries's Podcast · host Water, Wind, Wine Ministries

Have you ever felt like you don’t really belong in the body of Christ? How about feeling like you have nothing to offer the body simply because you don’t have a “public” ministry. Or are you on the other side… do you have a public ministry and secretly (or openly) look down on those in the body who don’t? As if they are somehow less “gifted” than yourself? I’m sure that you know- at least you would say you know- that both stances are wrong. 1 Corinthians 12 tells us (in not so many words) that just because someone is either publicly visible or not in the body of Christ has no bearing on whether they are part of the body of Christ or that they have something to offer the body of Christ. In this session, I take this deeply personal and often hidden feeling and relate it to my horses and their opinions of themselves. It is a simple video but nevertheless poignant in its meaning.  Thanks for tuning in… please subscribe.Check us out on the web:https://www.waterwindwine.org I used this song in this session: “The Wild West” by White Boneshttps://www.epidemicsound.com/track/JLR0Hi1ShF/
