Pat McCrory ran for Governor of North Carolina in 2008 and was defeated. He rebounded in 2012 and won. In 2016 he had to deal with the controversial HB2 bill. Then in 2016 Pat lost the reelection campaign to Democrat Roy Cooper. That race was too close to call. He conceded and yet there were claims of voter fraud. He is now rebounding by running for the NC Senate.
