“Paul Preaches Jesus in Pisidian Antioch” – A Sermon on Acts 13:13–52
from Twin Villages Church - Sermons · host Twin Village's Church
📝 Sermon Description In Acts 13:13–52, Paul stands in the synagogue of Pisidian Antioch and proclaims the good news of Jesus Christ as the fulfillment of God’s promises to Israel. Beginning with God’s gracious work in the history of His people, Paul shows that Jesus is the promised Savior, crucified according to God’s plan and raised from the dead in victory. Through Him, forgiveness of sins is proclaimed, and everyone who believes is freed from what the law of Moses could never accomplish.Yet this passage also shows the divided response to the gospel. Some receive the Word with joy, while others reject it in jealousy and unbelief. As opposition rises, Paul and Barnabas boldly declare that the salvation of God is not only for the Jews but also for the Gentiles, fulfilling the Lord’s purpose to bring His light to the nations. Through this passage, we are reminded that Jesus is the center of all Scripture, the resurrection is the foundation of our hope, and the gospel must be proclaimed with boldness to all who will hear.🙏 Join Us for Worship 🕙 Every Sunday at 10 AM 📍 40 Church Street, Damariscotta, ME 04543 🌐 www.twinvillageschurch.org🔗 Stay Connected 👍 Facebook: facebook.com/twinvillageschurch ▶️ YouTube: youtube.com/twinvillageschurch 🎧 Apple Podcasts: twinvillageschurch.org/apple 🔊 Spotify: twinvillageschurch.org/spotify 💖 Give: twinvillageschurch.org/give 📚 More Resources: twinvillageschurch.org🗓️ Sermon Date: Sunday, May 31st, 2026
