Terre Short shows us how to harness the power of your thoughts and words to become the leader your building needs you to be.   Since this is the fifth Wednesday of the month, we have a bonus Project Based Learning Leadership Guest episode. Terre Short is a leadership coach and author of the book: The Words We Choose, Your Guide to How and Why Words Matter. Terre’s "why " is about helping people communicate better. Terre talks about the idea of what she calls your ‘Internal Podcast’. You are in charge of your thoughts and you can harness this power to become a better leader in your school. Terre shares her experience of listening to the voice that said “ Of course you can”, instead of the voices that told her she couldn’t.   Terre has a three part process to help you transition to a meeting, switch gears in the middle of the day, etc. The process is short and easy to remember: 1. Deep breath in, say “I am present.” Exhale. 2. Deep breath in, say “ I have the intent to listen.” Exhale. 3.
