However, when Hyderabad based employee Aruna Dhara has noticed the harmful affects of synthetic sanitary napkins on a woman's health, she decided to do something about it. After trying to create awareness about stopping the usage of these sanitary napkins, she realised there is a need to develop natural sanitary napkin that is chemical-free and earth-frinedly. With the help of a friend, she has started her own company "Apna Green" which manufactures sanitary napkins using natural ingredients and making it chemical-free. Along with helping women to use natural sanitary napkins at affordable prices, they are also doing their best on protecting our Mother Earth.
