Peace - by Rev. Jeff Cloeter
from Loved + Sent Podcast Hosted by Loved + Sent Podcast
Peace: Isaiah 40:1-11; Luke 1:5-17 Announcement of peace comes to people who are embattled, embittered, as we are today. The setting of the announcement/John’s ministry is part of the message - dry, barren, desert. The Lord comes, even to those in the wilderness. The Lord as the bearer of peace. By his arm he rules, and he comforts (Is. 49:9-11).
