SCORES. We begin with the men at the Frozen Confines … #1 Michigan State 4, Wisconsin 3, OTDaniel Russell found the back of the net with 1.4 seconds to go in overtime as No. 1 Michigan State topped Wisconsin in the finale of the Frozen Confines at Wrigley Field. Russell had a pair of goals to push Michigan State to 17-2-1. Wisconsin falls to 2-6-1 in OT games alone this year. #3 Minnesota 5, Mercyhurst 2Five different players scored including Jimmy Snuggerud who picked up his 11th goal of the year as No. 3 Minnesota skated by Mercyhurst 5-2 at Mariucci.#5 Western Michigan 5, Alaska-Anchorage 2Liam Valente and Owen Michaels each scored twice as fifth-ranked Western Michigan picked up a home sweep over Alaska-Anchorage. Western improves to 13-4-1. #7 Maine 2, #6 Denver 1David Breazeale picked up the game-winner five minutes into the third period as seventh-ranked Maine earned a home split with a 2-1 win against No. 6 Denver. Harrison Scott scored his 13th of the year as well for the Black Bears. Augustana 3, #8 Colorado College 2Augustana went into Colorado Springs and swept the eighth-ranked Colorado College Tigers, capping the weekend with a 3-2 win on Saturday. Nace Langus scored the game-winner for Augie with 90 seconds left. That's a pairwise bomb for CC. Desert Hockey Classic#19 Arizona State 4, #16 Cornell 0Four different players scored as Arizona State picked up the title at its own Desert Hockey Classic with a solid 4-0 win over No.16 Cornell. Gibson Homer had 34 saves in the shutout for the Sun Devils. UMass 8, Robert Morris 0Coachella Valley Cactus Cup #10 UMass Lowell 3, Omaha 2Scott Truman scored twice to lead No. 10 UMass Lowell to the championship at the Coachella Valley Cactus Cup in Palm Springs. Michigan Tech 4, Holy Cross 3, OTLogan Morrell scored his ninth of the year with an overtime game-winner to lift Michigan Tech to a 4-3 win over Holy Cross in the third place game at the Coachella Valley Cactus Cup. Atlantic HockeyAir Force 3, Sacred Heart 0Niagara 4, Bentley 2CCHABowling Green 3, Lake Superior State 1ECACRPI 4, Brown 3Union 4, Yale 3Non-ConferenceNew Hampshire 4, Princeton 3After blowing a 3-0 lead, New Hampshire picked up a 4-3 win over host Princeton as Nikolai Jenson's second of the year with just over 11 minutes to play broke the tie and served as the game-winner.Northeastern 5, #18 Quinnipiac 1Dylan Hryckowian scored a hat trick as Northeastern improved to 6-9-3 by upending No. 18 Quinnipiac 5-1. Ohio State got the extra point after taking the shootout. Wisconsin does still hold an unbeaten streak and it’s currently at eight games without a loss. #5 Colgate 4, #6 Clarkson 2Emma Pais scored twice including the game-winner as Colgate jumped to the top of the ECAC standings with a 4-2 win over Clarkson. Kaia Malachino scored her 13th of the year for the Raiders. Colgate is now tied with Cornell at the top of the league. #7 Cornell 2, #10 St. Lawrence 2 (Cornell wins SO)Cornell picked up the extra point in the ECAC after taking a shootout over St. Lawrence after the two teams skated to a 2-2 tie. #12 Penn State 6, #3 Minnesota 2No. 12 Penn State beat No. 3 Minnesota for the first time in program history as the Nittany Lions jumped out to a 4-0 lead and never looked back at Ridder Arena. Minnesota native Stella Retrum scored twice for the Nittany Lions and Tessa Janecke scored her 16th of the year and Maddy Christian her 15th for Penn State. The Nittany Lions are now 17-4-1.#14 Princeton 5, Union 2Sarah Paul scored two more to give her 19 on the year, tying her for second in the nation as No. 14 Princeton beat Union 5-2. #9 Quinnipiac 4, RPI 0Kahlen Lamarche scored twice for No. 9 Quinnipiac as the Bobcats shutout RPI 4-0. Felicia Frank stopped 22 shots for her fourth shutout of the year.Dartmouth 1, Harvard 1 (Dartmouth wins SO)That's two wins in a row and now an extra point after a tie and a win in the shootout for Dartmouth. Cue Lou Brown. Bemidji State 5, Brown 4Bemidji State rallied from a 4-1 deficit to rally past Brown 5-4 in Minneapolis. Hailey Armstrong scored twice in the third period to power the Beavers.
