Russell had a pair of goals to push Michigan State to 17-2-1. Wisconsin falls to 2-6-1 in OT games alone this year. #3 Minnesota 5, Mercyhurst 2Five different players scored including Jimmy Snuggerud who picked up his 11th goal of the year as No. 3 Minnesota skated by Mercyhurst 5-2 at Mariucci.#5 Western Michigan 5, Alaska-Anchorage 2Liam Valente and Owen Michaels each scored twice as fifth-ranked Western Michigan picked up a home sweep over Alaska-Anchorage. Western improves to 13-4-1. #7 Maine 2, #6 Denver 1David Breazeale picked up the game-winner five minutes into the third period as seventh-ranked Maine earned a home split with a 2-1 win against No. 6 Denver. Harrison Scott scored his 13th of the year as well for the Black Bears. Augustana 3, #8 Colorado College 2Augustana went into Colorado Springs and swept the eighth-ranked Colorado College Tigers, capping the weekend with a 3-2 win on Saturday. Nace Langus scored the game-winner for Augie with 90 seconds left. That's a pairwise bomb for CC. Desert Hockey Classic#19 Arizona State 4, #16 Cornell 0Four different players scored as Arizona State picked up the title at its own Desert Hockey Classic with a solid 4-0 win over No.16 Cornell. Minnesota native Stella Retrum scored twice for the Nittany Lions and Tessa Janecke scored her 16th of the year and Maddy Christian her 15th for Penn State.
