Today is the Feast of the Pentecost which marked the birth of the Church and the fulfilment of God’s promise through the Prophet Joel 2:28, that “it shall come to pass when I shall pour out my Spirit upon all flesh…”. It marks the moment when the law of the Lord is written not on stone tablets as of old, but on the tablets of the human heart, thus empowering us to live in truth and in spirit the Christian life.
