Pentiment (2022) Part 2: Is This Just Qualityslop?

Pentiment is a game that is good. I might even argue that it's very good. But it's a game with fussy mechanics. It's a murder mystery that isn't interested in the answers. It's vague about it's truths. Pentiment is a tale about how history is preserved; about how truth is obfuscated. It's a tale about heritage and oral tradition and art. It's absolutely about art. Feather, Will, and Gary are finishing up the game this week and while only two of the three of us finished the game, we still very much recommend it! If you're interested at all in playing, please do that before listening to this. We're firm with our spoiler walls, but everything is revealed in this episode.  in this episode: geography, this is not disco elysium, the abbot was right, there is no right answer, returning to tassing, the peasants are organizing, the thread puller, investigations around town, you paint the narrative, boy failure andreas, the best check in the game, the holes are back, a special guest, feather's wishlist returns, the barbenheimer of infinite cities ~shoutout zone~ Pentiment Ending Mural  The Name of the Rose  Andrei Rublev Qualityslop ~~~ Our theme music is Glass Half Full by the incredible Cliff, you can find him on Bandcamp!
