Perspective
from ConBERTAciones · host Berta P. Weyenberg
Have you ever noticed how museums place benches near the paintings or installations, but not too close? They are positioned so the public can see and admire the artwork, yet with enough distance to truly perceive it. That space allows the viewer to take in not only the piece itself but also its context, its surroundings, its relationship with the room, its quiet dialogue with everything around it.The same happens when you attend a concert. There is a stage, and there are musicians performing, but the experience is not only the performers. It is also the acoustics of the building, the air, the shared presence of others, and the subtle vibrations that fill the space. You are close enough to be moved, yet not so close that you lose the fullness of the experience. You are part of it without being inside it.When we face a decision, a battle, or an obstacle, I invite you to approach it in the same way.Sit on the bench.Be near, but not too close.Allow yourself the distance needed to see clearly.Perspective gives us the ability to observe the whole, not just the fragment. It creates space for wisdom. It allows us to understand without being consumed, to evaluate without being overwhelmed, to see beyond the immediate emotion.Even when we are part of the situation, perspective gives us the gift of seeing it as a whole.Today, I invite you to carry this image with you, the image of sitting quietly before a work of art. Approach your challenges the same way,From a distance,Near, but not too close. And let perspective do its quiet, wise, faithful work, because perspective begins where urgency ends!BW
