Peter Burchell Interview - Adrianne Murphy 12/09/24

On this week's The Ability Show with Adrianne Murphy, with Make Way Day happening this year on Friday, 27th September a day when we are all asked to become aware of the obstacles on the streets in our towns and villages all over the country. One person who will be out and about on the 27th taking photos of various obstacles i.e. people parking up on paths or in disabled bays etc. is double amputee Peter Burchell who lost his legs due to diabetes. Peter joined Adrianne in the studio to speak about how he coped after losing both his legs to diabetes, his faith and the local rehabilitation services, including the NRH and the Irish Wheelchair Daycare Service here in Roscommon, that have helped him to overcome.
