Nach einem Blitzschlag 1768 brannte der Turm der Johannes-Baptist-Kirche mit seinen fünf Glocken völlig aus und wurde im selben Jahr erneuert. Das heutige Geläute mit Glocken des Münchner Gießers Johann Lorenz Kraus von 1786 und des Erdinger Gießers Karl Czudnochowsky aus dem Jahr 1949 besteht wiederum aus fünf Glocken.
