Phil goes in depth about how he auditioned for the band, the tuning on 'Shot In The Dark', auditioning guitarists after Jake E. Lee was let go and what set Zakk Wylde apart from the other guitarists that auditioned. The band Black Plague is discussed and the death of singer Bobby Black - oh but wait, that was totally fictional. The movies 'The Adventures of Ford Fairlane' and 'Encino Man' are discussed. Both of these movies also included songs by Motley Crue/Vince Neil. Ron Nevison is brought up and how the experience wasn't as he had hoped. Ron produced 'The Ultimate Sin', to which had Phil not wanting to work with Ron again - fast forward a few years and he was hired to produce Vince Neil's 'Exposed' album. Phil goes into detail of playing with Billy Idol, Beggars And Thieves and Vince Neil. As a great part of the interview - Phil eludes to the guitarist that Vince Neil originally wanted for his band.
