Sean Manning - Guitarist - The Exiles, Little Women (Quiet Riot), Hurricane

Send us Fan MailNon-Stop Rock Talk welcomes guitarist Sean Manning to discuss his latest release with The Exiles entitled, 'Turning Time' via Bad Reputation Records. An album which falls in line to the vintage music we all love from the 70's. The comparisons to Bad Company, Free and Led Zeppelin all apply. It's well worth a listen. Even better through headphones. It will sonically blow your mind. The first single 'Rainmaker' is discussed. Sean eludes to all the inner workings of the song. Legendary White Lion drummer Greg D'Angelo is discussed and what he brought to the song. The Cult's 'Sonic Temple' album is brought up as an influence when the song was written. Sean talks about his long relationship with Dio guitarist Rowan Robertson dating back to before playing with Ronnie James Dio. It was Sean's influence that persuaded Rowan to send in a tape and get an audition. We all know how that turned out. Sean also discusses working with Kevin Dubrow. He eludes to the fact as to why the band at the time was called Little Women, not Quiet Riot. Sean wrote songs for the bands 'Terrified' album which in Non-Stop Rock Talk's opinion - the best Quiet Riot release. It was a pleasure for Tyson to get to discuss this period in Kevin and Quiet Riot's career in the early to mid 90's. It is also brought up that Sean had worked a bit with Paul Shortino and Sean McNabb in Badd Boyz before joining Kevin. The conversation even goes deeper as Sean discusses the last time he spoke to Kevin Dubrow back in 2007 before his untimely death. Sean talks about his time working with Hurricane, replacing Doug Aldrich who was working with House of Lords. This then led to the initial formation of The Exiles. There is some really in depth conversation as Sean reveals that himself and former Megadeth guitarist Jeff Young briefly played together in Hurricane. Drummer Jay Schellen then left to join Unruly Child. From there - The Exiles started with Sean, Kelly Hanson, James Lomenzo and Greg D'Angelo, but that was not to last as Kelly would go onto work with Poison guitarist C.C. Deville in Needle Park. Sean then met singer Paul Rafferty and the rest is history. There is so much history within this interview. It was a pleasure for Non-Stop Rock Talk to discuss Sean's experiences. The timeline of a lot of the content was the early to mid 90's where so many bands and artists struggled to still be relevant. A must listen!!Support the showwww.nonstoprocktalkrocks.com

Apologies to Corvus Lore for this interview getting lost in the shuffle, but better late then never. The bands newest album which Ryan and Eric discuss working on has been released since the time of recording this interview - 'Bury The Beauty' was released on June 26th, 2026 and features the song "Promise You" as the first single. In this episode Ryan, Eric and Tyson discuss Corvus Lore's latest single that dates back a year ago entitled "Feather Me Through". Thank you to Ryan and Eric for allowing Tyson to share his thoughts. Ryan and Eric elude to it being tangible to having a physical copy of the music rather then just streaming it. The conversation touches on gear. Both Ryan and Eric discuss amps, guitars etc. that is used to create the Corvus Lore sound. They also elude to how they mix there guitar parts together. Def Leppard is mentioned as a band that did a great job of adding texture within the guitars but it didn't take away from the song.  Tyson also picks Ryan's brain in terms of where is lyrical titles and ideas come from. Todd McTavish and Ryan Rogers - Judge Jackson

Send us Fan MailTodd McTavish and Ryan Rogers of Los Angeles, California band Judge Jackson to discuss the bands latest release 'Chapter One 1995 - 2000' which features the song "Knuicklehead" which Todd and Ryan give the meaning behind the song. This album pays homage to late guitarist Lee Jackson who passed away in 2016. Todd explains the misconception on being in Shania Twain's back-up band. Possibly, Wikipedia isn't always accurate? Todd and Ryan also discuss the impact that Lee Jackson brought to the sound of Judge Jackson. They elude to the fact that Lee was cremated with one of his guitars. That tells you how playing guitar encompassed his entire being. He was truly a road dog. The road was where he was meant to be. Ryan terms his as "The Tony Iommi of Southern Rock" - meaning he was the ultimate riff-master. Todd as a former Canadian, admits that he still bleeds blue and white. Meaning that he is a supporter of hockey's Toronto Maple Leafs. Don Cherry is brought up and how Hockey Night in Canada is not the same since he was let go and the fact he should have never been let go. So again we get into sports which is fully embraced on the show. Ryan also fills us in on how much of a 'Metalhead' he is. The Duran Duran his sister was listening to just wasn't cutting it for him. So like so many of us he moved over to the 'Darkside'. Todd surprises Tyson within the conversation as he eludes to working with the legendary Mick Mars of Motley Crue on his solo material and other things. Todd is definitely on 'Team Mick' when the break-up is mentioned. This is truly a great interview that features blood, sweat and laughter. Send us Fan MailNon-Stop Rock Talk welcomes Anthony White who is the singer/guitarist for RFK Media recording artist Generation Landslide. Anthony is also the drummer in legendary 80's band Cold Sweat. Anthony can also be attributed to starting the whole tribute band craze as he was the Star Child/Paul Stanley in legendary Kiss tribute band Cold Gin which was selling out venues in Los Angeles in the 90's wearing full make-up and costumes. Possibly, Cold Gin was the reason that Kiss put the make-up back on in 1996. Anthony discusses the brand new album from Generation Landslide entitled 'Existence' which will be released on July 3rd. The teazer single entitled 'Runnin' Outta Time' is discussed and Tyson eludes to the fact that this is the ultimate, windows down, cranked high as you drive slowly down a busy street type of song. Anthony and Tyson go in depth about great bands that never became more popular - Kix, Black N' Blue and Y and T are really focused on within the conversation. What is Anthony's favorite Black N' Blue album? When did Anthony first see Kix? What is Anthony's favorite Y and T album? These are questions that all get answered in this episode. Queensryche's  amazing 'Operation: Mindcrime' album is talked about. The brilliance of the album is brought up and how Anthony made a conscious effort to go deep within the lyrical content like Queensryche did on the 1988 gem. 'Existence'  may not be a concept album, but Anthony eludes to how he really had a vision of how the songs make sense to the listener.Las Vegas and sports comes up in conversation. How a Fender Champ Amplifier was used on the album instead of a big old Marshall. 'Crazy Is This Life'  eventually circles back into the conversation. Dennis talks about the songs and how losing White Sister/Tattoo Rodeo bandmates guitarist Rick Chadock and drummer Richard Wright inspired 'A Different Sun'. The opening track 'Angeline' is explained to Tyson. This was a song that Dennis had started writing with Rick Chadock and is not based on a fictional character which will be explained. 'Bring Back Yesterday' is another song that gets attention where Dennis describes the meaning behind this great track. Support the showwww.nonstoprocktalkrocks.com

Lockhart - Devon Kerr and Jason Junop

Send us Fan MailNon-Stop Rock Talk proudly presents guitarist/singer/keyboardist - Devon Kerr and bassist - Jason Junop of Canadian AOR band Lockhart to discuss the bands latest release on High Roller Records entitled 'City Pulse'. The discussion goes full bore into the album. Devon and Jason give Tyson all the details on recording, filming videos, where the inspiration of the songs come from and who designs the wicked costumes seen in the video for "Can't Shake It"! Kane Roberts is brought up, as Devon is compared to Kane in the bands video for "City Pulse". Kane's single for "Does Anyone Fall In Love Anymore" is brought up and Devon actually sings the chorus! The conversation discusses where Devon and Jason take influence from - it was surprising and interesting Desmond Child, Mark/Marcie Free, Survivor and Dare are all mentioned. These gentlemen have clearly taken a deep dive into so many lesser known bands that clearly influenced Lockhart's sound. What really puts this interview into perspective... When Devon discusses what guitars were used on the album. He mentions using a Carvin Guitar - "The one Marty Friedman used in Cacophony". For those music geeks, like Tyson is - many would mention Marty in Megadeth, not Cacophony. So that is what this interview is, a surprisingly refreshing rock talk!Support the showwww.nonstoprocktalkrocks.com

There is always a platform, like an artist with a canvas in front of him. Songs were still available on streaming - 'Flat Earth Vultures' and 'Street Noise' were available to discuss. Rob also goes in depth about the production side of the recording and Ray weighs in on what it is like for him when recording his vocals. The guitar work of Gianmaria 'Jommy' Puledda is brought up and for the guitar hero fans - his playing is worth paying attention too! Send us Fan MailNon-Stop Rock Talk welcomes legendary drummer Johnny Dee to discuss the brand new Tyketto album entitled 'Closer to the Sun'. Johnny and Tyson discuss some of the tracks and the studio where the album was recorded. Ironically enough, Johnny had recorded with Waysted 40 years prior at that very studio. Not only had Johnny recorded there, but Rush, Oasis and Coldplay had used the studio as well. The conversation also goes deep into the Britny Fox story. The club daze even before Johnny joined the band, the recording of 1989's 'Boys in Heat' - how singer Dean Davidson was unhappy with the band for having him remove vocal tracks he had added to the album which may have lead to his dissatisfaction within the band, the proposed original cover/title which never saw the light of day and the things he didn't like about the album when it was released. The discussion also takes a course about technology - how it has taken the creative side out of not only music but in film as well. A very intriguing part of this discussion is in relation to a book written by Antonio Aloia and Mick Michaels (Corners of Sanctuary - Season 2 - Episode 38) entitled 'When We Rocked - The Story of the Philadelphia Scene 1978 - 1992'. Johnny had a part in this book as he wrote the forward and he also is quoted many times throughout the reading. A great book that covers the great bands that came out of the Philly circuit - Cinderella, Britny Fox, Tangier, Teeze/Roughouse and Heaven's Edge. For fans of Britny Fox, Johnny Dee and the Philly scene this is a must listen. It touches on so many aspects that hopefully enhances your listening experience and creates a little bit of nostalgia. The latest video for "I Never Meant To" on BraveWords Records. David's feelings on re-recording of the classic Accept song 'Prisoner' on the latest album 'Rapid Succesion: On Target II'. Tyson brings up the point to David, that Mark Slaughter was correct in stating that a new executive at MTV was the one that created the downfall in the early 90's which lead to the demise of the 80's 'hard rock' era. Corporate sponsorship also played into the equation which opens up a whole can of worms. Now, the show does get a little serious, with Tyson and David discussing world issues, possibly not a rock talk, but it does get to a point of music. The perspective at one point relates to a certain Metallica song from 'Master of Puppets'. Through the seriousness of the world, the two are able to bring it back to music. The Beatles are mentioned as the conversation touches on musicians who believe in freedom of speech but are taken in the wrong context for their words.Support the showwww.nonstoprocktalkrocks.com
