The NHL Trade Deadline is upon us. We have seen some teams be very active early on. A lot of rumors are swirling about who will be dealt with, especially with the Philadelphia Flyers. James Van Riemsdyk is the name that is rumored the most. Many teams have been linked to his name, looking to add his services. JVR would be a good addition to a playoff team because he plays a strong power-forward game and can help any Power Play with a strong net-front presence. Kevin Hayes, Justin Braun, and Ivan Provorov have also been rumored to be on the Trade Block. Who will be dealt by the March 3rd Deadline? There have been a number of Trades that were completed late last week. Some of those deals include Tanner Jeannot to the Tampa Bay Lightning, Nino Niederreiter to the Winnipeg Jets, Dmitry Orlov to the Boston Bruins, and of course the big one to Timo Meier to the New Jersey Devils. Playoff teams have been actively trying to add pieces to try and make their teams better for their push to not just get to the Playoffs, but win and raise Lord Stanley's Cup.
