“Philip and the Ethiopian Eunuch” – A Sermon on Acts 8:26–40

In Acts 8:26–40, God directs Philip to a desert road where he encounters an Ethiopian official searching the Scriptures. As the eunuch reads from Isaiah, Philip explains the good news about Jesus, revealing that the suffering servant foretold by the prophet is Christ Himself.Through this divine appointment, we see the sovereign guidance of God in evangelism, the centrality of Scripture in proclaiming the gospel, and the joy that comes when someone believes in Christ.
