Philippians 2: The Attitude & Characteristics Of The Church Part 4

In this weeks discussion we discuss the characteristics of the church according to Philippians 2:19-22. We discuss how the church images the communion of persons which is the Trinity--three persons and yet one God. The church is one, though composed of many members just as a body is one, though composed of many parts. The church must operate as one by the unity brought through leadership. We also discuss how the true church is universal. The church is for ALL people, of ALL times and in ALL places. The church's mission is to make disciples of ALL nations and to bring the mission of Christ's salvation to the ends of the earth.
