Thank you for joining me as this day begins to draw to a close. Before we continue into the evening, let’s pause together, open God’s Word and place every concern into the loving hands of God. Some days leave our minds full long after the work has finished. Conversations replay themselves, unanswered questions remain and tomorrow quietly waits for our attention. The Lord understands how easily our hearts become burdened. He does not ask us to carry every concern alone. Instead, He lovingly invites us to bring everything to Him in prayer, knowing that His peace is greater than anything we are carrying.  Philippians 4:6–7 (NIV) “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God… will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” What a reassuring invitation for this evening. Every prayer we whisper is heard by our heavenly Father, and every burden we place into His hands is met with His faithful care. His peace does not depend upon perfect circumstances; it rests upon His unchanging character. As we release today’s concerns, our hearts become quieter, our minds become steadier and our confidence rests once again in Christ. So this evening, let’s gently remind ourselves that fear will not win, because Jesus Christ surrounds our hearts with a peace that reaches deeper than every worry. Father, thank You that You welcome every prayer, every sigh and every unspoken concern. Thank You that Your peace is always available to those who seek You with trusting hearts. Lord Jesus, bless every listener this evening. Bring healing to those who are unwell, comfort to those carrying heavy concerns, calm to anxious minds and renewed assurance to everyone feeling emotionally weary. Teach us to exchange anxiety for prayer and worry for Your perfect peace. Holy Spirit, quiet every restless thought, guard our hearts with the peace of Christ and help us finish this day resting confidently in God’s faithful love. Across the world, from Adelaide to Queenstown, from Singapore to Denver and Montevideo, may every listener discover the deep peace that comes from placing every concern into the hands of God.
