You may already have answered a few messages, spoken with people or started working through today’s responsibilities. Sometimes, without us even noticing, a small concern begins to grow into a bigger worry. Before it settles too deeply in our minds, let’s pause together. We don’t have to carry every anxious thought by ourselves because God has already invited us to bring them to Him. Scripture (NIV) “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 4:6–7 Heavenly Father, thank You that You welcome every prayer we bring, whether it is spoken with confidence or whispered through tears. Today we place before You every concern that has found its way into our hearts. Replace anxiety with Your peace and fear with quiet trust. Help us to remember that You are already at work in the situations we cannot yet understand. Guard our hearts and our minds in Christ Jesus, and let Your peace gently lead us through every conversation, every decision and every moment of this day. Fear will not win, because the peace of God is greater than every anxious thought. May the Lord fill your heart with His peace today, strengthen your faith and remind you that you are safely held in His loving care.
