Send us your feedback — we’re listeningPhilippians 4:6 — Jesus, Calm My Anxious Thoughts in the Night Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper. Wherever you are in the world, thank you for making Daily Prayer part of your life and part of your day. As we pray together across the globe throughout the day, stay connected, return often, and let us continue this journey of prayer together. Philippians 4:6 (NIV) says: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” Psalm 91 reminds us that those who dwell in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. In these deep hours of the night, when thoughts can become heavy and rest feels distant, God’s peace is still present and available. Lord Jesus, in this quiet hour, we bring before You every anxious thought and every concern that rises within us. You see the worries that feel louder in the silence and the thoughts that refuse to settle. Bring Your peace into our hearts now. Where anxiety tries to take hold, bring calm. Where fear begins to rise, bring reassurance. Where our minds feel overwhelmed, bring stillness. Help us release every burden into Your hands. Let Your peace guard our hearts and minds as we rest in You. Jesús, calma nuestros pensamientos y llena nuestros corazones de Tu paz esta noche. Jesus, acalma os nossos pensamentos e enche os nossos corações da Tua paz nesta noite. Across the world, people are awake or resting in Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, the United States, Canada, South Africa, and many other nations. Lord, bless every listener and bring peace to every heart. Thank You that we can bring everything to You and find rest in Your presence.
