A disappointing start for university students looking to kick off the year with a bang.Orientation Week events are canned as Covid-19 puts a dampener on the student experience.University of Canterbury Students' Association president Pierce Crowley told Kate Hawkesby it's unfortunate.But he says they're still looking to put on some scaled-down events.“It’s going to be barbecues and quizzes kind of outdoor events, performances-type things.
