PipemanRadio Interviews Des Rocs Before Aftershock 2021

On this episode of the Adventures of Pipeman, Pipeman speaks to Des Rocs, just before they head to Aftershock in Sacramento this weekend. Des speaks about his new album A Real Good Person In A Real Bad Place and describes it as his life’s work and a semi-autobiographical journey. He also talks about using a fan to create a unique sound for his single Hanging By A Thread, which you can see over on his TikTok, along with a funny prank on his dad. Des talks about how good it feels to be back on stage and how this is the first time he’s headlining so being able to curate his shows to how he wanted them is great. He also talks about his excitement at playing the Troubadour as Pipeman talks about the story of when Metallica called themselves Power Metal. Des Rocs says the highlight of his tour so far with 15 shows still to play after Aftershock, was in Chicago, a city which he knows nobody, he had hundreds of people singing along with his songs.
