On this episode of The Pipeman Adventures, Pipeman speaks to Gymshorts at Riot Fest! To begin, Pipeman shares with us a funny personal story about gym shorts. Gymshorts expresses their feelings about the festival and how good, great and wonderful it feels to be performing again! Sarah mentions how she got a buzz cut at the festival in spirit of Jeff Gordon because she is the Jeff Gordon of this generation. Sarah also mentions how she does all the driving when they’re on tour partially for insurance reasons and partially because she likes to be in control. Pipeman and Gymshorts discuss Sarah’s hotdog earring, Chicago hot dogs and Road Island style wieners. Gymshorts mention how bees kept following them around Riot Fest and it wasn’t until their interview with Pipeman when they realised they we’re wearing yellow and had a tote bag with flowers on it! Gymshorts describe their music as light hearted, fun and an escape or tool to make people laugh. Gymshorts share with us their plans for after Riot Fest and state that they’re going to rest, tour in October and then write and record some more songs.
