The Pipeman interviews Markus from the band Kuolemanlaakso. The band is from Finland. It’s been 8 years since releasing music. The new album is named Kuusumu. The genre is kind of Death/Doom metal. There are some dark and folk elements. They had multiple inputs from other musicians on this project. Mostly done collaboratively over the internet and email. Markus musical taste is very wide as well as the other members of the band. This album they combined a lot of influences. Most of the reviews they have received liked the diverseness and some don’t like the genre less feeling. It would be boring to them to make the songs sound the same.
