PipemanRadio Interviews OnoFF

from Pipeman's Power of Music · host Talk 4 Radio

On this episode of the Adventures of Pipeman, Pipeman talks to Pauly and Stevie from OnoFF. OnoFF are from Ireland and Pipeman is just back from a 12-hour layover in Dublin. OnoFF have been together for 20 years with their bass player joining 12 years ago. After touring Europe and releasing and album back in 2008, they decided to give the US a shot and go to California, where pop punk rock should be at it’s strongest. So about 9 years ago they moved there and released their album and now they’re about to release another album very soon. The guys talk about the differences between the LA scene and Ireland, to which they say they found a lot of people trying to imitate or be like some of the bands of the 70’s and 80’s. They say the music scene has drastically changed in the last 10 years, especially in LA. Pipeman recommends everyone watch the video for the single Blah, Blah, Blah, and he asks how each of the band decided who would be Putin, who would be Kim and who would be Biden. The guys talk about the new album which will be coming out in 2023. They say they wrote it during lockdown and the name Blah, Blah, Blah, came from their feelings that the government were telling them lies. They also talk about what it was like working with Brian from Tesla and recording the album in his house in Texas and mixing it in his house in New York. If you want to support the band, don’t follow them on Spotify because they don’t really earn any money from them, so if you really want to support them, be sure to follow them on social media, particularly Instagram and Facebook, and check out their site onoffrock.com, which is where you can buy all the merch and the music. They also give their fans some secret merch so be sure to keep an eye out for that. The band are set to release their new, highly anticipated 11 track album in early 2023. The full-length record was tracked with Brian Wheat, bassist for the multi-platinum selling American rock band Tesla at his studio J Street Recorders in Sacramento and Mixed in New York.Blah Blah Blah is the first single from the bands new album which will be released in 2023..
