Tom describes themselves as melodic death metal which added a lot of orchestration to the music, which came with their new keyboardist. Tom and Pipeman discuss the importance of setting yourself apart from not only the other bands but also from your previous records. Tom states that he likes to think each song on the album has its own personality and vibe and explains how the band likes to change things up from album to album. Tom speaks about how there’s a little bit of everything on the album and he’s unsure how that will be interpreted but they wanted to show everyone that they’re well rounded with their music.
