Rob and Pipeman speak about Louder Than Life and how they’re just dusting off and getting back into the swing of festival life. Rob speaks about crushing it at the Blackened tent and how it became the unofficial Metallica meeting site. Pipeman talks about flying out to Sacramento for Aftershock and how excited he is. Rob mentions how Blackened will have a stand with Blackened whiskey and pre-mixed cocktails for you all. Pipeman asks about the whisky process and Rob explains how it was a collaboration with the late, great Dave Pickerell, as they wanted a whisky which stood on its own. Rob also explains the awesome process of how they sonically enhance the whisky using low frequency subwoofers to vibrate the barrels, giving more flavors to the whisky.
