Pod 366, Ep. 183: So Many Movies, Summer 2026 Edition

Greg and Pete (minus Giles) are back! First, we pay brief respects to the late, great Tim Curry before launching into the week's weird movie news. We begin with a "Hot Spot" update (weird indeed, and not as bad as advertised). Then it's on to our anticipation for Casper Kelly's killer unicorn horror "Buddy," now in theaters. It's a big slate of physical media releases this week, starting with debuts of Julie Pacino's surreal "I Live Here Now," the hentai-adjacent "Touch Me," and Tajiki meta-movie "Black Rabbit, White Rabbit." The deeper catalogue features a new 4K of the brilliantly murderous surrealist classic "Buffet Froid," and three oddities: Taiwan's 1961 fable "Fantasy of Deer Warrior," forgotten 1971 animation/live action hybrid "Tiki Tiki", and the 70s gangster movies of lounge singer Duke Mitchell now available in a single set.
