First up, New Yorkers take note of the retrospective "So as to Dream: The Eternal Mysteries of Kaizo Hayashi" put on by Japan Society: it features many rarely seen films, some newly restored. Everyone can avail themselves of the wide theatrical rerelease of "The Nightmare Before Christmas" (take the kiddies!), but you'll probably have to seek out the new indie psychological thriller "The Unraveling" on VOD. And three new films on home video to watch out for: the "Kinds of Kindness" Blu-ray, the standard edition Blu of "Late Night with the Devil," and A24s "death as a parrot" dramedy "Tuesday" now available on demand.
