Podcast 19: Menopause and the Queen Phase of Life
from Two Crones and a Microphone · host Betty deMaye-Caruth & Linda Shreve
Menopause is a natural part of the female life cycle which usually happens over a period of time between 40 and 55 years of age. This marks the end of a woman's ability to conceive. In general, most women will have around 500 menstrual cycles in their lifetime, unless they are/have been pregnant, had surgery or have had a sickness that has impacted their menstrual cycles. Menopause is when a woman hasn't had a period for an entire year. The time just before menopause can be quite unexpected, as women don't have many experiences to help them navigate it. This podcast provides some helpful advice, stories, and ideas to make the process a little less daunting.Tell us what you think!
