Why do billionaires sometimes pay lower effective rates than working people? That system is helping destroy the American Dream.Do I believe we have too much gun violence?Yes.Do I believe we should eliminate the Second Amendment?No.I believe in reasonable gun laws and finding common-sense ways to keep the most dangerous weapons away from the most dangerous people. And unlike a lot of politicians, I’ve gone to gun clubs and openly debated these issues for years. I’m not afraid of the conversation.Do I believe women should have the right to reproductive healthcare and abortion access?Yes.Do I believe endlessly burning billions on foreign wars makes sense?No.We are spending enormous amounts overseas while roads, bridges, communities, and industries here at home need investment.
