Podcast English logistics

from Finnja's podcast · host Finnja

Podcast from Amir, Lukas and Finnja Interviewer Lukas: Good Morning, welcome to my daily podcast. This week main topic is all about different types of Logistic companies. Nice- t-o meet you two. As you probably know I am Lukas and I have some questions about your companies. First of all, what are your names and how big are your companies? Amir: Hello Lukas I am Amir. We are a middle sized company. We have round about 50 staff members on our location. Finnja: Hey I’m Finnja. We are a pretty small company. We are 6 staff members worldwide only. Lukas: In which departments are you currently, and what are your exercises ? Amir: I am currently in the export and make the orders for the rail transport. Finnja: We don’t have special departments like that, we are doing a little bit of everything, like Airfreight, import and export in the sea freight, and pre-carriage and on-carriage. Lukas: That’s very interesting. How are the working times for both of you? And do you work in flexible times or fixed working hours? And how many working hours do you have per day. I know these are many questions at the same time, but I am just very interested. I hope you can follow me. Amir: I work in fix times. I start at 8 am and finish at 5 pm, so I work 8 hours per day. Finnja: I work in flexible times, mostly from 7:30 am until 4:30 pm and work round about 8 h per day. Lukas: Oh okay! Do you do any business trips? Amir: Never! Finnja: I will probably do one in the beginning of 2025 to Antwerp. Lukas: Antwerp sounds great! It’s a nice opportunity to connect with new people. But for now, that is all I wanted to asked. Thank you very much for your time and see you soon! Bye!
