Stein of veteran German thrash institution Exumer to discuss the band's new studio album "Death Mask Messiah," set for release on August 28, 2026, through  Metal Blade Records, their first new full-length in seven years. Mem breaks down the album's politically charged conceptual framework, drawing on US politics of the last decade, the pandemic, the weaponization of misinformation, and the thirtieth anniversary of the Waco standoff with the Branch Davidians, which inspired the track "Allocated Savagery.""Death Mask Messiah" was produced by Dominic Paraskevopoulos, known for his work with Kreator and Caliban, and mixed and mastered by Arthur Rizk, whose credits include Soulfly and King Diamond.
