Podcast Interview with Author Ruth O'Leary

Ruth O’Leary is from Dublin and works as a freelance movie- extra playing roles from a nun to a Viking and everything in between. She always carries a notebook and pen on set to scribble down notes between takes. Her short stories have been published in two of Ireland’s National publications, Woman’s Way and Ireland's Own Magazine. She has also had a memoir piece published online in Childlike and articles published in Writing.ie and in a local, regional paper. She has read her short stories at Shorter Stories live reading events in Dublin. Ruth also writes a Travel and Writing blog called Rambling Ruth and you can find that on her website, rutholearywriter.com. Her debut novel The Weekend Break is published by Poolbeg Books and will be in all bookshops from 04 March and is available to order online now. This is the first in a three-book deal.
