In this podcast we explore colorism as an issue of class stratification through discussing the traditional exclusionary nature of black sororities. While it is true that all black women were created equal, not all black women are treated equally. Black sororities have historically admitted some black women and rejected others. Unfortunately, much of this has to do with skin tone and perceptions of class.
