En: On a sunny spring afternoon, the Eisteddfod Genedlaethol Cymru Festival was in full swing. Cy: Roedd pabellau lliwgar yn llenwi’r darllenfa, gyda chelfyddydau ysgubol a cherddoriaeth ynghyd â llais brwd y barddoniaeth. En: Colorful tents filled the festival grounds, with sweeping arts and music alongside the enthusiastic voice of poetry. Cy: Ar y tir gwyrdd, roedd Hywel a Ffion yn sefyll, yn edmygu'r golwg. En: On the green field, Hywel and Ffion stood, admiring the scene. Cy: "Ffion, mae hyn mor wych," meddyliodd Hywel yn uchel, yn canfod ei hun yn nerfus ond cynhyrfus. En: "Ffion, this is amazing," Hywel thought out loud, finding himself nervous but excited. Cy: Roedd ei anadl yn fyr oherwydd y cyfle i gystadlu yn y bryddest. En: His breath was short due to the opportunity to compete in the poetry contest. Cy: Roedd pen a phapur yn ei ddwylo, bardd o wirioneddol angerdd. En: He held a pen and paper, a truly passionate poet. Cy: "Ti’n mynd i berfformio’n fendigedig," atebodd Ffion, gyda'i llais yn llawn sel a chefnogaeth. En: "You're going to perform wonderfully," replied Ffion, her voice full of enthusiasm and support. Cy: Ond roedd cysgod pryder ar ei hwyneb. En: But there was a shadow of worry on her face. Cy: Roedd Hywel wedi troi ei ffêr y diwrnod cynt, ac roedd yn methu cerdded heb boen. En: Hywel had twisted his ankle the day before and couldn't walk without pain. Cy: Yn sydyn, sylweddolodd Hywel fod angen iddo serennu er gwaetha’r boen. En: Suddenly, Hywel realized he needed to shine despite the pain. Cy: Roedd amser yn prinhau. En: Time was running out. Cy: "Rhaid i mi gymryd rhan, Ffion, er nad yw fy ffêr yn dda. En: "I must participate, Ffion, even though my ankle isn't good. Cy: Dydw i methu colli'r cyfle. En: I can't miss this opportunity." Cy: "Roedd Ffion yn dal ei law yn dyner. En: Ffion held his hand gently. Cy: "Rydw i'n dy gefnogi di, beth bynnag ti'n penderfynu. En: "I'm supporting you, whatever you decide." Cy: "Pan ddaeth yr amser perfformio, camodd Hywel i'r llwyfan. En: When the time for the performance came, Hywel stepped onto the stage. Cy: Gydag ergyd o boen, ac helpu Ffion wrth ei ochr, parhaodd ymlaen. En: With a jolt of pain, and Ffion's help by his side, he continued onward. Cy: Roedd y gynulleidfa’n sibrwd yn dawel ond yn llawn disgwylgarwch. En: The audience whispered quietly but full of anticipation. Cy: Er gwaethaf ei anaf, dechreuodd berfformio gyda phob darn o’i ysbryd a’i deimlad. En: Despite his injury, he began to perform with every piece of his spirit and emotion. Cy: Roedd geiriau ei farddoniaeth yn baentio lluniau byw yn eu meddyliau. En: The words of his poetry painted vivid pictures in their minds. Cy: Wrth i’r pennill olaf ddibennu, roedd y dorf yn eu sêl dros Hywel. En: As the final verse ended, the crowd cheered for Hywel. Cy: Roeddent yn sefyll i fyny gyda charibo a chwilfriw. En: They stood up with clapping and applause. Cy: Roedd y beirniaid hefyd wedi’u hysbrydoli gan ei nerth. En: The judges were also inspired by his strength. Cy: "Hywel, dy gariad at farddoniaeth yw’r wir enillwraig yma heno," dywedodd y prif fardd wrth gyflwyno’r cydnabyddiaeth arbennig iddo. En: "Hywel, your love for poetry is the true winner here tonight," said the chief poet when presenting the special recognition to him. Cy: Roedd ei wyneb yn llawn balchder a theimladau newydd a dyfynnai o’i galon. En: His face was full of pride and new feelings from his heart. Cy: Pan dawelodd y sioe, trodd Hywel at Ffion. En: When the show quieted down, Hywel turned to Ffion. Cy: "Diolch, Ffion. En: "Thank you, Ffion. Cy: Hebot ti, fyddwn i heb lwyddo. En: Without you, I wouldn't have succeeded." Cy: "Ffion chwarddodd, yn plaen. En: Ffion laughed, openly. Cy: "Rwyt ti’n fy ysbrydoli, Hywel. En: "You inspire me, Hywel. Cy: Mae gen i nawr deimlad i ddilyn fy nhalent fy hun. En: I now have a feeling to pursue my own talent." Cy: "Daeth effaith y gŵyl ar ben, gan baratoi'r llwyfan nid yn unig ar gyfer llwyddiant Hywel ond hefyd agor porth i uchelgeisiau newydd i Ffion. En: The impact of the festival came to an end, setting the stage not only for Hywel's success but also opening a door to new ambitions for Ffion.
