The appearance of Crime Intelligence official Major General Firoz Khan at the Madlanga Commission hangs in the balance after he was shot in Houghton, Johannesburg, on Sunday night. While the Madlanga Commission is yet to comment on this development, Khan, who was due to appear before the Commission on Wednesday, is unlikely to have recovered in time, as he remains in hospital in a reportedly critical condition. Brigadier Athlenda Mathe Explains
